Every year more than 100 Canadians are seriously injured or killed as a result of railway crossing or trespassing incidents. It is important to stay a safe distance from trains and stay off railway tracks. Do not use the tracks as a short cut and always obey the railway signs and signals. #stayalert #stayalive #train

Have you experienced a boiling water burn at home? Check out these quick emergency first aid tips!! After sustaining a boiling water burn: * Stop contact with the source of the burn as quickly as possible. If the hot water is on clothing, remove the clothing, unless it is stuck to the skin. * Cool the skin by running it under cold water for at least 10 mins.... * Do not put oils or any other products on the burn. Seek emergency aid if the burn: * is very painful * covers a large area of the body * causes no pain, but the skin looks very damaged * is severe Find more information here or check out SJA.ca to find a first aid course near you! https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/326405 #fastfirstaid #SJA #burn #cooking #firstaid #safetyfirst
