Do you ever crave a treat so hard, but then after it’s gone you feel like shit? You are not alone!! But let me tell you my little secret... PLAN IT OUT!!... It sounds silly, and too simple to work, but trust me, it does!! You see, I used to have a serious sweet tooth...well...ok, I still do! And what I found was if I didn’t plan a treat to look forward to, I would FIND TREATS in my house ALL WEEK! By planning ahead, I limit my treats for the week, AND it gives me something to look forward to (because let’s face it...the damn virus took away A LOT of the non food things I was looking forward to! ) I also have found that by choosing a treat and looking forward to it all week, I can 100% enjoy my treat! No more mindless munching sugary finds that leave me not even remembering that I ate it! One thing I DO make sure I do, is plan my treats the day before one of my tougher workouts! If I’m eating extra carbs, I want to be able to use them tomorrow! Today’s choice was @paris_twisted_treats and it was worth the wait! Social distancing on point and the treats were perfect! Do you give yourself a day to have a special treat? @ Paris, Ontario
