The client wanted to move the laundry room from upstairs down into the basement and turn the existing laundry room into a master ensuite. To make this achievable we had to get the plumbing over to the new ensuite for the toilet. Across the hall from the existing laundry room was the only bathroom on that floor. It was out dated so we demolished it to get the plumbing across the hall to the other bath. Both bathrooms, we did from scratch, adding in-floor heat, crown, pot lights, decorative leaded glass insert for more natural light into the hall and other high end finishes.

This project was a massive undertaking. The house was old and we discovered many challenges and issues throughout the renovation. We redid the whole house except the main kitchen, main floor flooring and the basement bathroom. We completely refinished the basement and moved the wash and dryer downstairs which made more room in the kitchen. We then removed a leaking sunroom and made the deck bigger. This bathroom is different than most due to its shape, and gave us some challenges when trying to come up with a design that met all the clients criteria. We did the usual and removed the existing bathroom. We took out the soaker tub and made the shower bigger, added a double vanity, new fan, pot lights and new tile.
