Thanks Liz and Boston Pizza for finding a way to still give back and support non profits during COVID. We may have lost our crown this year but watch out 2021, St. Aidan's will be making our comeback as #champions
St Aidan's Society is holding the Unmask the Mask raffle to support United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo Fundraising Campaign. United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo is our largest funder and their support has allowed our Organization to assist seniors in accessing resources that increase their quality of life and help them maintain their independence. To purchase a mask please send an etransfer to [email protected] and include the name and phone number to put... on the mask. Each mask is $20.00 and the unmasking will be held December 11th.
Edmonton Southside Primary Care Network has the November calendar for Seniors Centre Without Walls. This is a great phone in program for older adults across Alberta, if you haven't tried to call into a group yet find a program that interests you and give it a try. Amazing facilitators and fun daily programs!! We have attached below the call in instructions and the calendar for November.
Every year we set aside time to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Remember that wearing a poppy is more than taking time to honour the memory of those lost in battle, but an ongoing dedication to preserving their memory. St. Aidans Society is proud of the legacy the seniors in Fort McMurray have built for future generations to be able to enjoy the freedoms we have today. #LestWeForget
Huge thanks to Liz and the entire crew at Boston Pizza Downtown for hosting Chew For Charity. Even with Covid you’ve found a way to make this work and give back to charities. We had a blast. (And believe we crushed it!). Thanks to our gaggle of friends who helped us out. We appreciate you all.
