What a great turn out. we raised $4070 in 8 hours. @eikondevice thanks again for helping out and @groundedcoffeeco for being so very awesome and supportive wi...th supplying delicious coffee for everyone! Thank you all so much. Wish we could’ve done one on everybody that came by. We were able to get 87 people through. I hated turning away double that many people. Goes to show you the amount of support we have in our little community. Don’t matter if you’re male, female, young, old, fat, skinny, white, brown, red, yellow, black, gay, straight, trans, tattooed, tall, short, smart, dumb, whatever it makes no difference... we all are affected. Mental health issues are not something we should be afraid to talk about. I know for a lot of people, getting tattooed is therapeutic. I’ve had conversations with clients who’ve never been able to talk about their issues, even with their doctors or family. There’s definitely a binding factor involved with tattooing. For some the actual tattoo is only a reminder of the transition they’ve made, like a mile marker. You can look at that tattoo years down the road and remember just how you felt at that time, whether it has been pain filled or joyful. Making your memories permanent is what I love about tattooing.
