From volunteers to delivery drivers, from local businesses to schools, the agencies we worked with and the kids that saved and donated we are blessed to be able to serve this community and humbled by your generosity. Every little bit helped to make a difference for those who really needed it this year and for that we are thankful!! <3

We have many thank yous that are overdue but we are just recovering from yesterday’s successful Christmas Hamper delivery. To start a big shout out to A & W who had been collecting donations for our Christmas hampers since November 12. They presented our President Judy and our Christmas Hamper co chair Kyla a cheque for over $1600 on Friday! Also big thanks to CUPE 941 for dropping by with their $2000 donation. And a HUGE thanks to Simone and Ivy along with Fitz Tiny Homes for their toy drive which raised over $3000 plus toys! Thanks to these great organizations for their support this year! We are humbled by their generosity along with yours St Albert!

St. Albert meets on the first Tuesday of the month between September and June. Our next General meeting is Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Kinsmen Banquet Centre 47 Riel Drive in St. Albert. Fellowship at 6 pm, Dinner at 6:30, meeting at 7. We would love to have you come out as our guest to learn more about what we do. The Kinette Club of St. Albert is part of Kin Canada, a Canadian Service organization which was started in 1920 by Hal Rogers in Hamilton, Ontario. Our motto is "Serving the Community's Greatest Need" and in our 2018 year (Sept 2018 - June 2019) Kin across Canada did that to an extraordinary level. As seen in the pictures below captured at our National Convention that just happened in Nanaimo last week. In 2018 Kin Across Canada gave back $20,150,155.85 to the People of Canada. We volunteered in our communities for 534,877 hours which is the same as 22,286.5 days or 61 YEARS! We donated 1323 units of blood (188% of our pledged goal) and we raised/donated $176,295 towards the goal of $175,00 to the Hal rogers Endowment Fund to be able to give away 100 bursaries this year to celebrate our 100 years! That is just a small glimpse in to what Kin Clubs across Canada have done and continue to do.
