Tomorrow is jersey day at St.Alexander's school!

Like many other activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, Valentine's Day celebrations will look different this year. This is just a reminder that unfortunately, students will not be permitted to bring in any valentines or treats from home for sharing with classmates to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The staff would like to thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Teach Your Monster to Read is FREE again! It's BAFTA-nominated and approved by the UK government's Hungry Little Minds campaign. Teachers, parents and (most-importantly) kids absolutely love it! From Tuesday 12th til Sunday 17th, you can download Teach Your Monster to Read from any app store completely free. Once you've downloaded it, you can keep using it on that device for free, even after the free period ends. Get your copy today and share the news with everyone with ki...ds learning to read! This is a favourite of some of the younger children at school in our primary grades. It is fun, educational and user friendly. It usually isn't free so download it for free while you can!

A message to Parents and Guardians: As you may already be aware, both elementary and secondary schools will reopen for in-person learning on Monday, January 11, 2021. We recognize that the success of all learning, both in the classroom and virtual, is due to the time, energy and enthusiasm of an entire family and support system. We thank all of our parents and caregivers for the tremendous support you continue to provide students and our school communities during these ever-c...hanging times. For return to in class learning all learning materials sent home by classroom teachers will need come to school on Monday so students are prepared for in class learning. If you received technology from the school for on line learning the devices will need to be returned on Monday. Please do not send the device in with your child. Parents may drop off devices to the school between 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and between 1:00-2:00. The loan agreement form must be completed for the return of the device.
