...and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do. Jeremiah 18:4 This may seem sudden to a lot of you. Maybe unexpected. It was and still is for me. But after much prayer and thought I will be resigning from the Youth Minster position (a position I have served for 6 years!) at St. Alphonsus Liguori to return to school in pursuit of a career in nursing. It was a very difficult decision to make and one I didn’t take lightly. But when the Lord ca...lls, you answer. And I couldn’t ignore His promptings. It is certainly bittersweet. Especially after so many years of memories of leading young people to Jesus but at the same time looking ahead at how to best provide for and serve my family. I will still be a part of the St. Alphonsus community of course! I love my parish and will continue to pray and help in our parish’s mission to Love God, Love Others and to Make Disciples here in Peterborough. Please pray for me and my family as we embark on this new journey the Lord has placed before us. Pray for our pastor and parish and for whoever might be my replacement, that they all will continue to fruitfully reach out to those most in need of Jesus. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. My pastor Fr. Jerry, whom has helped me grow in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Staff, students, families and friends that have not only made me a part of the St. Alphonsus community but also helped make ministry at St. Alphonsus, fruitful to so many people. Deo Gloria
