SHARE THE WARMTH FRIENDS! I’m am SUPER happy & soooo grateful to announce that this is my 11th year!!! For 11+ incredible years (omg, I cannot even believ...e it!) I’ve been providing warmth to people in need and I couldn’t be happier!! Yes I know there are large companies now that are doing something similar, but this is my passion and I’m right there on the frontline so I know where these coats need to go The snow is beginning to fall and it will be FREEZING out there very soon so my annual WINTER COAT DRIVE starts today (Nov 18th) and will run until Dec 15th!! As always, I will personally be picking up EVERY item & delivering/handing them out to our community members who are relying on your generosity! As many of you already know, I have been working in Addiction and Mental Health for over 20yrs and am personally connected to a population of people who could really really use your help! I advocate for people who do NOT have the means to purchase warm winter wear on their own and currently I’m working at a location where most (if not all) of my clients are homeless. This gives me an opportunity to distribute your donations directly to the people who need them the most. Listen, I see firsthand how poverty affects all walks of life and there is nothing worse than seeing a person wearing a spring jacket or hoodie in the dead of winter (frozen and sometimes too ashamed to ask for a 'hand-out'). EVERYONE deserves to be warm; help me warm the hearts of others and consider donating. I serve all populations including men, women, and children therefore all styles, sizes, colours are welcome (we do not discriminate ). For everyone that has already offered to donate, please privately msg me your address & I'll porch pick up this weekend. Imagine... there are people sleeping outside under extreme weather conditions without winter clothing? Yes, hard to believe but it is very real. Please think of others during these upcoming winter months and de-clutter those closets! If you are no longer using it or it no longer suits your style, I’ll happily take it!! Here’s the thing... With the help of my friends & community, I have collected THOUSANDS of jackets and other warm winter items over the years! Together we can provide some relief. #bettertogether Where do your donations go?
