The Banff Musicians in Residence is a 3-week self-directed residency allowing time and space to concentrate on artistic development in Banff Centre’s unparalleled mountain setting. Canadian musicians of all genres are encouraged to apply. Financial Aid of 100% is available to cover tuition. Head to Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity profile to learn more and to apply. We sure are missing producing Stampede City Sessions, live music in general... This was an amazing show last Fall, with The Matinee from Vancouver. The song they opened with, "Blood Alley" has a line that is so relevant with all that is happening... "If it gets too much, we all just need a little human touch..." Great song, followed by more great songs...have a watch

Stampede City Sessions 19.10.2020

The first Canadian and 10th global edition of Music Cities Convention will take place in the cities of Edmonton & Calgary, Canada, and is presented alongside We...st Anthem, National Music Centre, and Alberta Music. Three days of music, networking, panels, talks, presentations and roundtables that will bridge festivals to tourism, venues to economic development, live music to health, record labels to community building and much more. The exact event theme and topics will be released in early 2021.
