Lost for 27 years(recorded Oct/Nov '93), this tape may have Blundermen on Side EH, or The Real McKensies, -time will only tell...BUT! on Side Bee is the original mix of Hockey Teeth's 7" Jesus Saves & our cover of The Asexuals that no one has ever heard...my ears are looking forward to a piece of history that make me that much older... May you be comfortably situated between your parents,- all smiling & happy. THANK YOU for being my mentor. Thank you for allowing me to steal some of your thing & make some of it mine. Thank you for influencing me beyond what you will ever know. Thank you for letting me cover your songs in my feeble attempt to personalize them. Thank you for all the laughs, the great lyrics that were thought provoking & humourous, & touched a wee lad at a very vulnerable time in his life,- you hit yer mark mate,- WELL DONE. Most importantly,- THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU. Thank you for your stance of protecting womyn & gay rights etc. I have played your music since I heard of your passing,- & tbh I am surprised my speakers haven't blown yet :) I admit I had a moment or two of weakness, but you have always been a realist on what way you came in & ultimately are going out.
