Additional details coming in the next few weeks !! However, have a read below of some overview Interested trainers must fill out an application online a...nd submit a video. All applications must be in by March 1, 2021. The committee will then choose the 5 trainers selected for the 2021 project. Horses and trainers will then be paired by random draw and training will begin June 1, 2021. Horses will be selected and chosen by the committee. They will be up to date on all veterinary care and farrier care prior to the start of the training portion. Trainers and Horses will be paired together and have 90 days (3 months) to learn the basics of under saddle work, and be able to compete in a competition that will not only showcase their abilities, but also their versatility. As this is a brand new concept and we do not want to overwhelm ourselves - there is a limit of 5 trainer/horse pairings that we will be putting together. Should this be a successful opportunity, we will look at opening it up to more in 2022.
