The Sterling Women’s Institute in Stanley Bridge is sad to announce that our long-running, popular summer Ceilidhs won’t be operating this summer due to Covid-19. We will definitely keep monitoring the situation and will keep our ceilidh go-ers up to date if restrictions relax In the upcoming weeks. We certainly can’t imagine a summer on PEI without our Ceilidh friends, the amazing PEI music that our Island musicians perform and our famous strawberries & ice cream sundaes - ...but we know the health & safety of our performers, staff, visitors and friends comes first. We hope everyone from near and far are doing well and we look forward to the day when we can share our Island famous Ceilidhs with you once again. Wow our craft Fair at Stanley Bridge is coming together nicely. We have fresh wreaths, jewelry, baked goods, meat pies, lobster meat, oysters, many many beautiful crafts, woodworking, apple cider, jams and jelly. Much much more. Also there are tickets for sale at T...he Stanley Bridge Centre for a Roast Pork Dinner (Take-out) on Sunday Nov.29th. The concert at New London Community Complex is cancelled due to performers unable to come to PEI and the closing of the Bubble for 2 weeks. All other activities will take place.
