Farm Shop We’re back this coming Saturday from 10am-1pm with our farm shop! We have a delicious variety of soups available, fresh eggs for $5 a dozen, maple syrup, farm raised beef and baked goods! This week we got creative and made bagels! We made very limited quantities, however are available in a 6 pack for only $5! Of course our freshly baked buns (crowd favourite) are back and are always a sell out! ... Taking down that Christmas tree this weekend? We’re still accepting trees until the 15th for our animals, and once they get a delicious snack from the trees, we can repurpose it! While at the farm please respect all social and physical distancing protocols, proper mask wearing, hand sanitization and reduced capacity. In the store. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Weekly Take Home Meals We are back for the 2021 year with our weekly take home meals! So how does it work? Every month we post the upcoming meals on our website, and we also post the upcoming meal every week on our social media. Orders are due Tuesday at noon for Thursday evening pickup, and can be made by phone, email or the message function on the website! ... For only $20 a person the meal includes a starter, a bread, the main, and of course dessert! What’s this weeks take home meal? Our famous roast beef! It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved family member Irv. Loosing his battle to cancer, Irv passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 31st, 2020. Although Irv is no longer with us physically, he will always be remember as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother in law, friend and an active hand helping us create and maintain our farm operations. Nothing was too big of a job for Irv, whether it was creating or fixing things... for his wife Kathy, landscaping at home or the farm, always willing to make someone laugh and always offering coffee when someone stopped by the house, he will truly be missed. At this time we currently do not have funeral arrangements made, and are taking each day in stride. We thank everyone in advance for their patience with us during this time. Irv will truly be missed.

Farm Shop We’re starting 2021 off with a bang! This Saturday our Farm Shop will be open from 10am-1pm for all your farm essentials and goodies! Our hens have been pumping out fresh eggs available by the dozen, our fan favourite fresh buns are available and if you are done with those turkey leftovers our delicious tourtiere is a great substitute! Want to pre-order your buns? Send us an email at [email protected] and we’ll get you set up! ... Did you collects bunch of egg cartons from all that holiday baking you did? We’ll happily accept them in good condition to use! (These will be isolated for 2 weeks and sanitized prior to being used) Ready to take that tree down after New Years? We’re accepting all real undecorated trees for our animals! Trees are great for our small animals and have great use even after they’re eaten! You can drop them off any day until January 15th!

The Maples Restaurant & Patio Thank you to everyone who continuously comes out Friday nights! Our club sandwiches and poutine last week was a hit! This week we have two specialities again! Poutine & Quesadillas! As the weather cools down a bit this is the perfect meal to remember summer by, but also dig into some delicious farm to table meals. Dessert you ask? Our classic sticky toffee pudding! ... Reservations for Friday night are highly encouraged to ensure we can maintain proper physical and social distancing protocols inside and out. Want to still sit outside? We have our heaters ready to warm you up for the night, but we’ll also have our bonfire going for you to snuggle up to and enjoy a drink around. Want to place a take out order? Want to add some beverages to pair with our specialities? We have a selection of alcoholic beverages you can add to your take home meal! THANK YOU Thank you to everyone who donated pumpkins, straw bales, corn, apples & more to us post Halloween! Our animals had a feast every single day because of our awesome community members like you! Still have your pumpkin and missed the drop off? There are still local farms collecting pumpkins, and if not you can find some create how to manuals to turn those pumpkins to bird feeders, or even feeding them to wildlife around you! ... Today we pay tribute and remember the service and sacrifice of so many, who gave their lives, both past and present, for the freedom and privileges we have today. On the 11th day at the 11th hour, please stop for a moment of silence, as we will be doing across the farm. If you cannot make it out to a socially distant ceremony this year, please consider staying home and watching from your TV or watch services being streamed live across the web.
