This video is my "WHY". This is WHY I do what I do. This is WHY I wanted to open a gym and show people they're capable of more than they think. This is WHY I get up early every day and go to bed late every night. This is WHY I've been doing this for 20 years and this WHY I'll continue to do it for another 20. Thank you to my wife Lorrie and my daughter Lexa for all of your support. Every day I want to be better for you, because of you. Thank you to all of my coaches who have... been with me for years through thick and thin. Thank you to all of our members over the years who have grown and shaped Starke into what it is today. I'm trying to make it better every day for you. https://youtu.be/-PkoCHzkpbY

Sisters that sweat together get jacked AF together We LOVE seeing family members training together. Brothers and sisters, parents, grandparents. There’s something g special about family members grinding out workouts in the same class getting them stronger and bringing them closer. @tinaloscerbonowosad and @lisabestcare are always hitting weekly sister sweat sessions and it’s always a great sight.

Strength will never come to you, it is built over time. Not over hours or days but months and years. Becoming stronger mentally, physically and emotionally is like carving a statue. You chip away weakness, uncertainty, and doubt. The more you chip away the more you’re left with a desired outcome. This can take years but it’s worth the wait, the journey and the experiences. @rebecca_j_brown always getting stronger with no signs of slowing down...

We love it when men go deep. Like really deep... No seriously. When someone can drop it like it’s hot into the bottom of a squat it’s a thing of beauty (insert bottom lip biting emoji if they had one here) We’re not all built the same with varying heights, limb lengths, socket structures and depths, but we can all find ways to get into our best squat possible. ... If you don’t know where or how to start ask one of our coaches and they’ll have you droppin it like it’s hot into the bottom of YOUR squat in no time. #word Male models @markusminarik @richard_cantalejo @quinton.gowler

Congratulations to these four for stepping back onto a slightly different competition floor yesterday. Things looked a little different doing a virtual competition but the one thing that didn’t change was the adrenaline, the excitement of competition and leaving it all out there on the floor. The cheers from other members and spectators who came to hang around and lend support was awesome as well. This is something that had been missing for a while with everything that’s been... going on so thank you to Prairie CrossFit for coming up with a solution to the competition that was supposed to happen in March and being a pioneer for this new type of comp. for the next little while. A HUGE congratulations to our four Starke Gladiators who took to the competition floor with Faye taking FIRST PLACE in her division, John taking FIRST PLACE in his division, Nikita taking SECOND PLACE in his devision and Nicholas taking FIFTH PLACE in his division. The thing we are most proud of is the way our athletes moved and conducted themselves which ALWAYS comes above placing. They were all moving well with high quality standards and wanted to cause as minimal disruption with the morning class that was going on at the same time. You guys are all awesome and have made your Starke family proud #betterthanyesterday #hwpo
