A big big big thank you to everyone who attended the book and garage sale over the weekend. It was by far the biggest and best sale we have had to date! Thank... you to the Parksville Community and Conference Centre for hosting us, to Jen and Kathy who organized it, David who made the signs, Sandi, Kathy, and Jen's mother-in-law who did the baking, and all the other volunteers and friends/families that helped make this sale a success. Thank you to our book drop off locations: Pharmasave Parksville, Qualicum Beach Pharmasave, Winestine's Wine Works, Bosleys Pet Food Plus Nanaimo (North Nanaimo), and Station Farm and Feed. Thank you to PQB News for running a story about our book sale last week and to 88.5 The Beach for running our radio ads. We can't forget to thank everyone who donated books and garage sale items. Spring is near...Poultry swap begins March. It will be the first sunday of every month (march 6 will be the first) Gates will open from 11:00am-1:00 pm and is held in the parking lot of Station Farm and Feed.
