We are so excited to finally announce the newest team member! Can you guess who it is?! Swipe right to meet Erin Snelling Erin graduated from UBC with her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2014, and prior to that completed a Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2012. Erin is currently pursuing her Intermediate Manual Therapy diploma and also has her Kinetacore Dry Needling certificate. ... Erin’s athletic background consists of many sports, with soccer being her main passion and the game she continues to play today.Erin’s most utilized physiotherapy tool is empathy; she has attended rehabilitation for countless sports injuries, as well as extensive treatment following a Motor Vehicle Accident in 2014, so she treats patients how she’d like to be treated drawing from positive personal encounters. She has the experience of being a former high level athlete, but can relate to those who need to shake off the rust after prolonged absence from consistent physical activity. Whether your passion is to Netflix & Chill, or pursue your athletic potential, Erin is dedicated to helping you overcome the barriers that are limiting your ability to do what you love.

Did you know we offer pelvic floor physiotherapy? If there’s one appointment that every mother should attend after giving birth, it’s an assessment with a pelvic health physiotherapist. . . . The pelvic floor is the base of our core and aids in stabilizing the body from the inside out. ... . . . There are a variety of pelvic floor issues such as incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse. Our Physiotherapy, Ivory has received additional education and training in managing conditions related to the pelvis. A pelvic health visit may include an external and/or internal exam and individualized treatment to maximize the strengths and weaknesses of your pelvic floor. . . . Here at Station, we can help identify the body’s current limitations, provide personalized exercises and education that take into consideration your stage of healing, existing issues, and the many demands of the pelvic floor. Why Station? It’s a question we get asked often in the clinic and we wanted let everyone know! . 1 We wanted something with a community feel and our clinic is within Shaughnessy Station. . 2 A Station is where people come together to start and end their journey. We believe your experience at Station resembles this as your journey is to a better self.

We say we’re fine, even when the truth is we’re ecstatic, exhausted, grateful or even freaking out. Every time we just go through the motions, we miss out on the chance to connect for real. In times of crisis, we need each other more than ever. Connecting doesn’t just feel good - its good for our mental health. Visit @cmha_bc for more helpful tools #GetReal #mentalhealthawareness
