Preschool Samosa Fundraiser deadline - Sunday, Oct. 18th/20 The order deadline for our Samosa Fundraiser is this Sunday, October 18th And here is some exciting news:... We are extremely close to reaching our fundraiser goal thank you so much for your support! Pickup Wednesday, October 28, 11:45 - 1:30pm, St Catherine's parking lot. AND Samosa Fundraisers has added a unique gift option to the fundraiser. Vibha from Discovery 2’s has authored an Indian cookbook and sourced all the essential spices and mixes that allow you to successfully make these delicious recipes. You can order through this link. Thank you! On a personal note: I have ordered the samosas, butter chicken (which comes with rice), chai tea and chutney. UNBELIEVABLY good! Super easy to make and your family will think you have slaved over dinner!

Perfect timing! This year at Christmas the Christmas Bureau is asking for donations of money not gifts because of Covid. If you are able to donate drop a cheque or cash at the church and we will get it to them!

Every year, for close to 15 years, St. Catherine’s has hosted a Community Thanksgiving Dinner for those on the north shore who, for whatever reason, cannot have a turkey dinner. This year we were unable to hold a dinner so instead we launched an appeal. With the incredible support of our parishioners we were able to provide grocery store vouchers to the following agencies to a total of nearly $5000.00, Seniors Hub North Shore Multicultural Centre John Braithwaite Community C...entre Harvest Project Lookout Shelter Turning Point Recovery Pathways Mental Health North Shore Neighbourhood House Congratulations!

Our preschool is the only one on the North Shore who takes special needs students and provides 1:1 and 2 trained teachers per class. Because of Covid things are a bit harder right now. Please support them by ordering! I LOVE the samosas and particularly the butter chicken. We just had it for dinner the other night.
