To view the monthly "Beacon" online, please visit our website at stclairtownship.ca This is a reminder to all residents to place waste & recycling on the boulevard approximately one metre from the curb, or where no curb exists, one metre from the shoulder of the road. Waste should not be placed on road or over any portion of the curb, it should not be placed any further than one metre to ensure it is collected. Waste that is placed on the road or curb can affect public works operations (street sweeping, snowplows, etc.)

Due to unforeseen operational issues this morning along with large volumes of recycling, Emterra will not be able to complete Week 2 collection for Thursday, December 31st. Uncollected streets south of Hill St in Corunna will be collected on Saturday January 2nd. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The week of November 30th is the last week of the yard waste collection schedule, after this week yard waste will be collected with regular waste pick up, subject to 6 item limit. Please do not put sticks and brush in with yard waste as this could result in a rejected collection.

Description: Old River Road will be closed between Brander Park Road and Island Avenue for water main construction from Tuesday November 24, 2020 to Friday November 27, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No through traffic allowed. Due to operational issues, Waste Management was unable to complete yard waste collection for St. Clair Township Thursday, Nov 19th. Collection will continue Friday, Nov 20th in areas not completed or Saturday, Nov 21st if necessary.

EDIT: St. Clair Parkway and Oil Springs Road are now open. EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE St. Clair Parkway from Courtright Line to Bickford Road, and Oil Springs Line from St. Clair Parkway to Greenfield Road will be closed for Hydro repairs....
