Steadfast Veterinary Services 07.01.2021

This past year has brought about many big changes. It is after much consideration, and more than a little heartache, that I have decided to suspend the operations of Steadfast Veterinary Services Ltd. The challenges of maintaining a practice here in Hanna while living in Bashaw with my husband and needing to recover from some vet-practice induced physical injuries have been big factors in this decision. I have switched gears to a role that allows me to utilise my veterinary... training, recover from injury, and ranch with my husband. It has been my absolute privilege to provide large animal veterinary services to this area the past five years, and this chapter of life will always hold a precious place in my heart. Thank you for your support and trust. I look forward to being able to bring value to your operations in new ways in the future, whether through the Livestock Hub or through my new contract position with Zoetis as a technical services veterinarian. Effective immediately, we are not booking appointments or available for emergency calls. We will be available for follow up on current cases on a scheduled basis. We will be available Thursday afternoons through March to dispense prescriptions, provide presciptions, and to transfer files. Please submit your requests for prescriptions or file transfers by noon on Wednesdays to facilitate processing in time for Thursday. We would appreciate having account balances settled by March 31, 2020. We are actively looking for a buyer for the practiceit is our hope to have a practitioner take over and provide large animal services. There are some interested parties, and we will keep you posted about any developments on that front. We hope to make the transition as smooth as possible. In the meantime, we have colleagues who are looking to take on clientsDr. Jan Currah, Larrikin Veterinary Services (587)777-7793, Dr. Colleen Christianson, Annette Veterinary Services (403)362-0040, Dr. Megan Wakefield of MJ Veterinary Services, (403)882-4560, Dr. Kirby Finkbeiner, Berry Creek Veterinary Services (403)793-4688, and Valley Veterinary Clinic, (403)854-3463. Please stay tuned for info on a client appreciation/farewell event to be held this spring. Thank you for your support, your patience, and your commitment to your livestock.
