We've got another update to share on the ongoing restoration of the old unit. Pictured here is #219's original headlamp. The piece was stripped down, repaired, repainted and outfitted with new wiring so that it can by lit up again. The original photo is circa 1974 courtesy Mimi Doire as the engine was preparing for its return to northern Ontario from Normetal. Stay tuned for more updates!

Limited Edition T&NO #219 Print The Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre is delighted to share the finished print of #219 completed by Robert Michelutti. There are 219 prints available for purchase at a cost of $425.00 + HST. The framed print, measuring 21x23, includes a data sheet on the engine, an authentic piece of coal from the locomotive's tender and a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Another progress update from local artist Bob Michelutti on the progress of the #219 print. The engine is just about finsihed with the bell and headlamp remaining as the last two pieces to receive attention.
