It’s that time of the year again. As you may already know, the owner of STLFLX and Swenco Limited - Paul Sweeny (@paulsweeny6686 ) is a member of the Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Club. We believe that every family in our region should have a nutritious turkey dinner for Christmas. To make this happen, we organize an annual Turkey Drive in support of the House of Friendship Christmas hamper program. The 2018 Turkey Drive goal is to raise $400,000. We know this is a big goal, b...ut if we all pitch in we will reach this goal, and more importantly, help thousands of local families enjoy a Christmas dinner, just like we do. For every $100 you donate, you can feed a family of four during the Christmas Season (including a food hamper and turkey). For every $25 you donate, you can give a Christmas turkey to a local family in need. All donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt (Canadian Resident only). By raising $400,000 by December 21st, we can; purchase 3,800 turkeys, supply food products for 4,100 hampers, include halal turkeys for 600 families, recruit 700 volunteers to pack, deliver and distribute the turkeys and hampers, help make Christmas just a little better for over 11,500 in our community.
