B.C. can build the cleanest LNG industry in the World. Current policies position B.C. LNG as the cleanest in the world with the fewest emissions, says David Keane of the BC LNG Alliance If we are serious about leaving a better world for future generations, fostering unprecedented economic participation by First Nations and creating opportunities for British Columbians and all Canadians, we should be actively working toward ensuring B.C. is ready to meet the next window of opportunity for LNG demand http://vancouversun.com//david-keane-b-c-can-build-the-cle
A new report commissioned by the BC government and First Nations LNG Alliance found that BC First Nations support the establishment of a liquefied natural gas sector. We are proud to have made history as the only Canadian LNG project being developed through a co-management relationship with First Nations. Together with our co-management partners Huu-ay-aht First Nations we are creating a renewed path forward for responsible resource development. http://business.financialpost.com//first-nationss-support-
B.C.s LNG industry must be globally competitive to succeed and generate benefits for British Columbians. We welcome the BC governments new framework for LNG projects, which has removed many barriers and will help ensure that good LNG projects, like our Kwispaa LNG project, can provide cleaner energy options to support countries in meeting global climate commitments. http://www.cbc.ca//political-experts-weigh-in-on-lng-tax-b

BC natural gas exports would have a net reduction in GHG emissions: NEW STUDY A first-of-its-kind report from John Hopkins Universitys School of Advanced International Studies released today analyzed the life-cycle GHG emissions of LNG produced in BC. Their finding? Exporting BC natural gas to Asia would result in a net reduction in GHG emissions by displacing coal use in places like China. https://www.biv.com//bc-lng-exports-would-have-net-ghg-re/
First Nations LNG Alliance CEO Karen Ogen-Toews is dismayed by some environmental activists. She writes: "It is no longer acceptable to relegate First Nations into poverty or to criticize the many that rightfully want the benefits that flow from LNG development."
