Steeped Tea with Cathy Norris 25.11.2020

It is getting to that time of year when my afternoon tea changes to a cold drink and for that it is MATCHA! Pictured is Cherry Matcha and 500 ml Cherry Pomegranate Crystal Light. So good! "Matcha comes from the same plant as green tea, but since it is made from the entire leaf it packs in a more concentrated amount of anti-oxidants and beneficial plant compounds. Studies have revealed a variety of health benefits associated with matcha and its components, ranging from enh...ancing weight loss to reduced risk of heart disease." Check out https://www.healthline.com/nutrit/7-benefits-of-matcha-tea for even more great info and insights on MATCHA! Steeped Tea's list of matcha flavours is growing each year and they now offer single serving pkgs for those who like to take on the go! Available Flavours: Strawberry Vanilla Coconut Mocha Banana Lemonatcha Pineapple Candy Apple Clementine Premium - no flavour Sweet Matcha's: Hawaiian Punch Sweet Peach Sweet Chocolate Sweet Bubblegum Mojito

Looking for something to do this fine Easter weekend If you don't have dye or don't like the colour choices for egg colouring try using your tea Hard boil your eggs while steeping tea leaves for 10 min or longer. I use double the leaves. Remove leaves. Add 4 tsp of vinegar to each cup of tea.... Place your hardboiled egg into tea. I left the egg to soak overnight in the fridge, but not necessary. Soak to your preference. Gently remove the egg, being careful as colour can rub off. Allow to dry. Brush with vegetable oil. Retouch as needed while on display.
