This lovely lady is a joy to have on the farm. She has a gentle spirit, and produces gorgeous mohair fibre.

The 'wow' of the first snow has worn off. It looks like it's here to stay...

This little 'ewok' is actually a baby angora goat. His mohair might be enough for a pair of socks? Maybe a sweater next year.

The thrill may wear off as the season continues, but for now I'm just taking in the beauty of the new snowfall in our area. This is behind Holtyre, just before the bridge.

We are farmers, so technically live in a farmhouse...but this is not my kitchen. I would love to mimic this look though, because I love the mood of the raw bricks, and earthy tones.
