Research states that Chlorella (a nutritious algae) helps your body absorb iron and boosts your hemoglobin levels (the protein that carries oxygen into your tissues/organs). Having struggled with iron deficiency anemia since the age of 7, I have recently introduced chlorella into my daily routine to test this out. I opted for the caps vs the powder as I’m not a diligent smoothie maker Due to covid, receiving iron infusion therapy at the hospital is not an option right now.... Therefore, I have been taking FeraMAX 150 capsules for the last 4 months to help boost my levels. Excepttttttt, my iron levels did not budge after 4 months of daily FeraMAX. But it’s not FeraMAX, it’s me . I have tried various brands of iron pills. But I am just one of those people who will not absorb iron enterally. But since I love @thorneresearch products, I wanted to try out their iron pills and re test my levels in 3 months. So I’ll get back to you on that Did I mention I love @thorneresearch ? vitamin D but make it 10 000 iu I found out I was vitamin D deficient late last year and began taking 5 000 iu daily from Thorne (that’s 5 x higher than the average 1000 iu vitamin D you get over the counter at drug stores). After a few months, I re tested and I was no longer deficient! I recently found @thorneresearch offering this higher dose. I think this is a good idea for those who sometimes forget to take their vitamins everyday. I even switched my mother to it. She forgets .
