Morning everyone!! Great news, the kids are back to school and adjusting well. That means my return to work will begin next week! September 14th. I will be working Monday’s and Thursday’s for the remainder of September to help get adjusted to the new normal for myself and my kiddos. Then will add in Wednesday’s starting October 5th. Hi Everyone!! I see a fair amount of hits happening to my page and I’m sure it’s people looking for information regarding my return to work. I still plan to return in September, my date of return has not been officially picked. With my children returning to school things are still constantly changing with the school boards. They have been told by the Ontario Government that they can push back start dates and if this is the case I don’t want to chance having to cancel clients that are eager for massage. Hope to announce official hours early next week. Hope everyone is in good health and spirits and enjoying the these last beautiful days of summer.

To my massage clients, It is with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to start my maternity leave as of now and self-isolate. This is due to the recommendation of the CDC and QHC to allow myself and unborn child the best chance to not contract the COVID-19 virus. Also, due to the unknowing of when the province and CMTO will even allow myself and other massage therapists to return to work I feel it best to put everyone’s questions and concerns at ease regardi...ng the standing of their upcoming massage appointments. My intentions are still to return to work in September and I hope you understand the place I am coming from to have to make such a difficult decision. Wishing everyone the best of health in the months to come. Please remember to socially distance, to self-isolate when feeling unwell and we will all get through this tough time together. As many of my clients are aware I am expecting my fourth child in May and will be starting my maternity leave May 14th, if things continue to progress well. That being said my appointments are booking up fast and I’m already booking into the week of March the 23rd. If you’ve been thinking of booking now is the time to arrange an appointment time. We can always put you on a cancellation list as well if you’re hoping for something sooner. I plan to return to work after Labour Day in September as I take the summer to recuperate and bond with our new addition. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

I have been working in the Madoc area as a Registered Massage Therapist since late 2016. Prior to that I practiced in Belleville for 8 years. I received my Massage Therapy diploma in 2008 from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. Growing up in Belleville I knew I wanted to come back to the area and help rehabilitate people through manual manipulation of the muscle tissue. I now reside in Tweed, Ontario and enjoy working alongside my husband and our three children on our farm.
