Meatless Monday! So I posted these buffalo roasted chickpeas, which are fantastic as a snack on their own, on a salad or if you need a more substantial meal you can use them in a wrap! Not to mention this is a very quick and easy meal. Are your workouts lacking spark? It’s incredible how small changes in energy intake and specifically carbohydrate amount and distribution can lead to more successful workouts. When I work with athletes, my absolute favourite thing to hear them say is wow, I can’t believe how much more I can push myself in my workouts. To me success is fueling athletes to be able to achieve more, to work harder, to heal faster and to be the best athlete they can be. I would love to help you fuel your sport, send me a message to learn more and have a free 10 minute meet and greet with Dietitian Stephanie!

Self care Sunday! Did you know exercise and cooking tasty, healthy food can also be a form of self care? It's so powerful to be in a mindset where we consider self care as not only treating yourself to a treat, a massage, buying something special, but learning that self care also means taking care of your physical body. The power of food and movement is amazing. Good food makes you feel better on the inside, can have an impact on mood, gut health and energy. Exercise can do the same, where exercise can make you feel confident, accomplished, strong, not to mention has endorphin releasing capacity! How will you take care of your physical body today?
