Neglected tropical diseases affect 1 in 5 people in the world’s most impoverished and marginalized communities, resulting in devastating health, social, and economic consequences. Let’s #EndTheNeglect this #WorldNTDDay.

At #TRAN Committee today, we heard from several witnesses, including Monette Pasher, Executive Director of the Atlantic Canada Airports Association who feels like her industry is "on mute." Listen as she talks about the feelings of uncertainty and isolation that the people of Atlantic Canada are experiencing as a result of the Liberal government's inaction.

Watch as the Liberal government tries to defend its decision to give Canadian tax dollars to foreign airlines as well as a contract for vaccine delivery to American delivery giant, Fedex -- all while Canada's aviation industry crumbles. Apparently it was "complex". Unreal... #SaveCanadianAviation

I spent several years of my life in the USA and cherish the special relationship that Canada has with our neighbours to the South. I want to wish all of our American friends a very Happy Thanksgiving!

The Trudeau government has managed to fail on it all; from rapid testing, to testing on arrival, and now vaccines - to the detriment of not just one sector but all Canadians. See my Member's Statement below.

Here’s a quick video update on what’s happening at the Transport Committee! I encourage you to tune into our meeting via CPAC - Cable Public Affairs Channel at 3:30 PM (EST) / 1:30 PM (MST) today.

At yesterday's TRAN Committee, I asked Minister McKenna why the outgoing CEO of the Canada Infrastructure Bank received a performance bonus, given that he completed ZERO projects. For a Minister who considers herself "outcomes-based" this is perplexing. I also asked about the Minister's intentions as they relate to a critical infrastructure project in the York region. Both the municipal and provincial governments, as well as those who rely on public transit have been waiting six months for an answer. It's time to give one.

You need to see this. COVID-19 is a national crisis unparalleled in our lifetime. It isn't an "opportunity" for Justin Trudeau to re-imagine our economy. Are you with me?

After reviewing a follow-up audit by the Auditor General on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, I was troubled to learn that the Department of Transportation under Minister Garneau, failed to investigate 30% of reported safety violations. Protecting Canadians' safety is paramount and must never fall by the wayside! See what members of the Auditor General's Office had to say during today's ENVI Committee meeting:

I was pleased to participate in the debate on Bill C-3 today in the House of Commons. C-3, commonly known as "the JUST Act" was originally a Private Member's Bill put forward by the former Interim Leader of the Conservative Party, the Honourable Rona Ambrose. I spoke in support of this important bill today and sincerely hope to see it pass. In my speech, I mentioned the importance of sharing our stories and noted some of the strong women, like Rona, who have paved the way fo...r all of us to do just that. Shout-outs today went to: The Honourable Rosalie Silverman Abella The Honourable Sheilah Martin The Honourable Andromache Karatsanis The Honourable Suzanne Côté The Honourable Ellen Fairclough The Honourable Flora MacDonald The Right Honourable Kim Campbell The Honourable Deb Gray Sue Tomney and Nesreen Ali of YWCA Calgary Results Canada Jodi Kantor & Megan Twohey
