At yesterday's TRAN Committee, I asked Minister McKenna why the outgoing CEO of the Canada Infrastructure Bank received a performance bonus, given that he completed ZERO projects. For a Minister who considers herself "outcomes-based" this is perplexing. I also asked about the Minister's intentions as they relate to a critical infrastructure project in the York region. Both the municipal and provincial governments, as well as those who rely on public transit have been waiting six months for an answer. It's time to give one.

After reviewing a follow-up audit by the Auditor General on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, I was troubled to learn that the Department of Transportation under Minister Garneau, failed to investigate 30% of reported safety violations.
