It’s autism awareness day today!

With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing in Canada and across the world, Kemptville Kids (including Stepping Stone Pediatric and Wellington Kids) will be closed for the foreseeable future. We will continue to monitor the Ontario government announcements and will provide you with any necessary updates. We apologize for any inconvenience and can appreciate any frustrations you may be experiencing at this time. We are looking forward to seeing you at the clinic again when it is safe to do so. Please note that we are working diligently at getting a Teletherapy option ready for those Clients who would like to continue services online. COVID-19 UPDATE: In support of the Government directives on preventing the spread of COVID-19 and in the interest of public health and safety, Kemptville Kids (including Stepping Stone Pediatric and Wellington Kids) will temporarily be closed effective immediately until March 30th, 2020. We will be closely monitoring the situation and will re-evaluate the situation after March 30th, 2020. At this time, we will reach out to you to reschedule your appointments. The health and safety of our clients and families are of utmost importance. Please note that virtual (i.e., Skype, phone call, etc.) sessions may be an option during this time. Please contact your therapist for more information and the applicability of this option.

With the Covid-19 situation changing daily, the team at Kemptville kids would like to let you know what we are doing on our part to protect our community and help slow the spread of this virus. We want you to know that we will continue to practice and take precautions to prevent the spread of this and any other infection withi...n our clinic. We continue to follow best practice for cleaning and disinfecting our clinic: -Therapists are reminded to wash their hands between each client -Therapists clean and disinfect toys, mats, beds and equipment between each use -Hand sanitizer is available in each room for staff and clients to use Beginning March 16, 2020: -Everyone without exception will be screened before entering the clinic and asked the following questions: -Have you or anyone in your immediate family travelled outside of Canada in the last 21 days? Have you been in close proximity or contact with anyone who has? Have you or anyone in your immediate family travelled inside of Canada by airplane or been in contact with anyone who has? -Do you have a new cough and/ or fever in the last 3 weeks? If you answer yes to any of these questions, we would ask that you not enter the clinic and call or email your therapist to reschedule your appointment. You will not be penalized for any last minute cancellations due to this situation. We will be offering virtual sessions if this is something that interests you. Please contact your therapist for more information if you are interested. We will be asking clients to sanitize their hands when they enter the clinic.
