The dining room in this North Van reno was once the kitchen area, blocked off with walls. We were able to open everything up and install a large double sliding door to create one big open space to not only inside but outside.

With this North Van home reno, we wanted clean contemporary lines in the kitchen and used the metallic glass backsplash to tie everything together. The hood fan blends into the cabintets where we tried not to make it a focal point. The cabinet lowers are a light wood grain and the uppers are high gloss where we tried to find balance between the two materials.
