SteriSimple Software Solutions 03.01.2021

I’ve reached out to many of you lately, getting feedback on the upgrade tests. Many of you are in red zones. It’s tough going these days . . . I find it that way myself. PPE prices are going up, supply orders are taking way too long to arrive, people are sassing us at screening, we still don’t know WTF is impending about restrictions, holiday extensions, daycare, staffing . . . you get the idea. I’ve decided to suspend subscription payments until Easter, at least. We need any break we can get, right? That means please just use the software at no charge, advise me of any issues as usual. One less thing to worry about.

Hi everyone. I hope everyone is well. Below is a link regarding updates to SteriReader. I've kept busy with these since May's updates - there are loads of new features. I'll update this link as I go with new/upcoming software updates. The new video user manual will also be available soon. Many of you are already running the new version. Just a few more tweaks before I roll it out officially. You can find this link through SteriReader under Settings | What's New.... https://help.sterisimple.ca/wp/reader-updates/

Here's this weekend's announcement. I've nearly finished an update which will allow items to be labeled before sterilization. One of the things I've wanted for this system is to keep it simple, avoiding crazy expensive equipment and associated overhead . . . . I've worked it out so that you can use any old laser printer to produce the labels. These labels are actually less expensive than the cheapest Dymo labels you can find on Amazon, and the overall cost and waste is ac...tually less as well. The coolest thing is that the software will keep track of how many labels are printed on a sheet. You just peel off the printed labels, then slip the sheet back in the printer. The next batch will start printing at the next blank label. Mindless. It will be available in an update very soon, but for existing installations, you can continue to use the Dymo . . . . if you need to switch, the code will already be there. You can choose. Any new installations will be pre-sterilization labeling by default. So the next update for SteriReader is gonna be huge. Access to COVID and IPAC online manuals, online access to a MASSIVE WHMIS label library I've made plus this pre-sterilizaiton label function.
