I don't usually do a lot of High School graduation portraits but I am so happy I got the chance to work with this beauty! We had so much fun playing on the beach, the water, and chasing the wild horses! Congratulations Mariah, here's to a great future ahead of you!

there are some things a bride simply can not control on her big day, the weather being one of them. BUT what she can control is how she rolls with whatever is handed to her. yesterday was a windy, windy day for a wedding. as I was frustrated doing details shots when the invitations and rose petals were blowing off the balcony, to the planner frustrated at the white drapes that were being tied in clumps instead of hanging beautifully, and the bride herself with her hair consta...ntly blowing in her face and her dress all over the place she could barely walk. the moment before this photo was taken I could see it on Larissas face, she was about to loose it. I simply told her she has one chance at these photos and as we are all frustrated we still need to create some magical memories for them to cherish for their lifetime together.... okay, I also might have said ; shut up and kiss your husband I'll take care of the wind! these two tie the knot today! Kyle + Lindsay definitely have a soft spot in my heart, they are that young, pure, gentle love we all wish we could of found at a young age. two years ago this amazing couple said "I Do" Becca was a special bride for me and I knew it immediately. She had found my work through a mutual friend, we met for sushi to discuss her wedding and ended up sitting and chatting as if we were old friends for a few hours. This actually happened a handful of times We still to this day keep in touch, a text here and there just "checking in" and "saying hi". sometimes we all know 2year olds don't always love family photo time, or you will only get a certain amount of minutes until they are d o n e! this little angel was all done but mommy really wanted a photo of just the two of them... and a precious photo we got! no it's not a perfect look at the camera and smile but ohhhh it's full of some much love + emotion! the majority of my families have small children and my best advice is to just 'go with it!' like this beautiful mama did! *side note, I'm thinking of offering one day of mommy and me mini session, location and date not yet determined but if you would be interested leave a comment + let me know! #SteshaJordanPhotography

my favorite part of traveling is being able to capture the real culture of the location I am in. here in Moorea the locals are seriously the nicest people, so welcoming + warm to all the tourist! I was able to capture this shot of a bunch of island kids during their Sunday funday! side note, Sunday's are family days here in Tahiti... the rest of the world take some notes. It was amazing to see everyone together BBQ-ing, fishing, and playing bocci ball.

oh hey everyone! well looks like my Instagram game has fallen over here. sorry for being mia, life has been cray-zy to say the least. I have had some issues with my programming (insert photographers worst nightmare) so social media has pushed to the backburner... plus I needed to unplug socially for just a few. good news is all my issues with Lightroom and my desktop computer have been fixed, bad new is doc says my carpal tunnel is developing quicker than before.... sorry doc but this girl can't afford to not be using her right !! anyways, so so very excited to keep sharing what I have been working on for the last couple weeks and even more excited for February to get here to start wedding season. stay tuned for some pretty magical photos comin your way!

One of the hardest parts of being a photographer is when you have an amazing session, a perfect session if you wish, and you have to keep it a secret! AH! This family right here gets an A+ and could possibly be THE coolest family ever. They drove 2 hours to Sedona only to get there right as the rain started to come down. Forecast said rain all night, I gave them the option to reschedule or shoot under a building and they said, "nope, we are all in!" They took their photos in the RAIN! Not one complaint, not one side remark, not anything but laughter, fun, and a great time! Their 2 year old didn't even shed one tear or tantrum.... I am not kidding, this family is a bunch of rockstars!

this couple, this light, this grass, and this green.... made for a perfect engagement portrait! while we were up in Sedona shooting this engagement session we were right at the end walking through the pathway when I saw this section of nature to the right. I made the couple run over and places them from afar right in the middle. I could tell by the looks on their faces they thought I was insane. when I finally showed them the images both of them looked at each other and their mouths fell open.
