The Stettler Recreation Centre will be open for private bookings only starting today with the Arenas, and the fitness centre on Tuesday February 16th. The fitness centre will offer 1 hour bookings starting at 6:00am and closing at 9pm Mon-Fri. The pool will offer instructed programing as per their schedule. Bookings can be made online at https://stettler.maxgalaxycanada.net/BrowseFacilities.aspx 5 days in advance and are limited to single persons or "households" only. The facility will be closed to the public so only people who have rented the facility will be granted access. Arena bookings are limited to Town and County residents only. The Aquatic Centre will be opening for limited 1-on-1 training and instruction Mondays-Fridays beginning February 16th. All sessions are by reservation only. With the latest news of restrictions for COVID-19 from the Government of Alberta, the Stettler Recreation Centre will close at 6pm Saturday 12th and will reopen when permitted. Thank you all for your patronage! See you in the New Year!

We are reducing hourly arena rates while in enhanced status! Treat your household to an hour of skating for as little as $75.00 plus tax. Available to Town and County of Stettler residents. The following guidlines from AHS will apply: **Ice can be rented and used by one individual with one coach or trainer OR when all persons reside in the same household. Call 403-742-4411 or email [email protected] to book an ice time.... All AHS rules must be adhered to when entering the facility and during ice sessions.

As of November 30th the Town and County of Stettler have now changed to an enhanced area on the COVID status map. As a result the Stettler Recreation Centre and our various users are under additional restrictions: -There will be no hockey (team sports) while in enhanced status. -The fitness centre will remain open with a maximum of 10 people in the gym at a time but all group classes are cancelled.... -The pool is operating but under enhanced measures, there will be no group water exercises. Thank you!

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your scheduled swim, and do not enter the change rooms until the time of your scheduled swim. Effective Monday, November 30th. No more Aquafit Classes, only individual training, solo activities are allowed.

The Stettler Recreation Centre is still open! There are no changes for Fitness Centre users. Pool users, effective Monday, November 30th all public swims in the evenings and on weekends will move back to FAMILY bubble swims and you will need to make reservations. You can do this online or by calling the Rec Centre. Also, morning hours during the week will start at 7am. Instructed water exercises will be cancelled but you are welcome to come and do your own thing during this time. This will remain in effect until January 11th. Be sure to check out our pool schedule on stettler.net. Please understand that these precautions are being made to ensure we are able to continue to provide services to our community and that we all stay healthy.

Great news! New Alberta Health Services guidelines will allow for the hot tub to reopen shortly! The Aquatic Centre team is hard at work to prepare the hot tub and will provide further updates on a reopening date with physical distancing and occupancy restrictions in place.

Just a reminder: The fitness centre is now open until 9pm Mon-Fri. Also we will be closed for classes on Mon/Wed 4:30-5:30pm and Tues/Thurs 9:30-10:30am and 7-8pm for classes. Due to low class registration we have cancelled the 6-7am class on Mon/Wed so the fitness centre will be open at that time.
