It was great to visit the Sackawa Canoe Club recently with Steve Craig. The club was first founded in 1978, and the original clubhouse was built in 1982. Fast f...orward to today, and after years of steady growth a new state-of-the-art club house is set for its grand opening soon. The club hosts youth camps and teams, specialized programs and all-year training facilities. I appreciated speaking with the stellar volunteer board of directors, and Im so excited to see all their hard work and determination pay off with their new club house!
