Steveston Museum is featured in Richmond Museum's latest exhibit, City at Work. Peter Grant has recreated the Steveston Museum's 1905 building in miniature. Thanks Peter and thanks Richmond Museum. PS if you look closely, you can see a model of another Steveston heritage landmark building in the picture... What is it? Hint: It's on Railway Avenue and Steveston Highway and it's not O'Hares Pub.

Found in Steveston Museum's Town Square Park - this little vintage statue. He's currently keeping Big Red company on Big Red's memorial dog bowl. Please take him home if he's yours.

Is Steveston the best neighbourhood in Metro Vancouver? We think so! Why? For thousands of reasons. But let's take just one - our rich and fascinating heritage. We are blessed with so many heritage sites in our village. And even if we can't visit all of them at the moment, they're there in our hearts, reminding us of better days to come and that we will get through this. CBC Radio is searching for the best neighbourhood in Metro Vancouver. Steveston is in the semifinals an...d up against Pitt Meadows. Voting closes tonight at midnight. We are working hard to re-open the post office at the Steveston Museum. Stay tuned for more details. Until then, if you are interested in learning more about Richmond’s fascinating history, we invite you to visit Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site which reopened to public earlier this month. Currently, the Britannia Shipyard building the heart of our National Historic Site is open Thursday to Sunday noon-4pm. For more information about visiting Britannia Shipyards... go to https://www.richmond.ca/culture/sites/britannia/about.htm The reopening of facilities is part of the City’s Restoring Richmond Plan, a careful and phased approach to restoring recreational and community programs, services and amenities that were placed on hold back in March. While the City encourages people to be active and enjoy the benefits of social connectivity, it also wants to ensure any restoration of services is done safely and strictly adheres to public health and WorkSafeBC guidelines. Updates to the City’s Restoring Richmond Plan will be shared via the City website at richmond.ca/covid19 and social media channels as they are confirmed.
