Our office admin Holly picked up a charcuterie board this past weekend and if there hadn't been two other people there sharing, she likely would have eaten it all herself. "Everything on the board was so dang delicious that I wish I could go in there and buy one of everything and just eat my way through the whole store! The board was a hit and presented great and didn't last very long once it was out and fair game!" With Thanksgiving weekend upon us we wanted to say how grateful we are for our great staff, awesome tenants and amazing community groups we have the privilege of working with day in and day out. We wouldn't be here without all of you and we are so thankful to be surrounded by such great people. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Our sister building of The Elizabeth is about to welcome the grand opening of our daycare and we are so excited! If you or someone you know is looking for childminding or daycare in or around Humboldt, Little Lizzie's Intergenerational Early Learning Centre still has spots available. Effective August 6th, our property manager Kyle Anspach is gone on needed leave and will not be returning. While we are sad to see him go, we understand that things happen and sometimes people move on. Being a very small staff it does hit a lot harder to see a team member go but we are working hard to pick up where Kyle left off. We wish him all the best in whatever adventure life hands him next! In the coming weeks, we have a new member joining our team that will be fulfilli...ng the role of property manager and you can expect to see their introduction to the team soon! In the meantime of the changeover we appreciate your patience as we manage having a long term employee leave while also setting up our new teammate for success and all of the things that can pop up in that kind of transition. We are doing our best to ensure that your issues and inquiries are still being dealt with and concerns are being heard. All of your points of contact for Kyle will continue to be received as usual for the time being, and we encourage you to continue to call, email or text any of the previous emails or phone numbers you had for him prior until new contact information is announced. In situations like these the very least we can do is say thank you. Thank you for doing the work that so many others could not and for continuing to advocate for those in our city that need it most.

Stewart Properties has recently had the privilege of teaming up with a few community programs that have partnered as a COVID-19 inter-agency community response team, to offer housing to a few young men that can now have a place to call home. We love being parts of initiatives like this and we believe strongly in what community can do for people, especially in times like these. When people come together, lives can be changed and we are looking to those who can help with and b...e a part of this endeavour with us. The house these young men will be moving into will need help to be filled with household items to set them up for success and we are looking to all of you to see if you can help where you can. Maybe you're holding on to some items for a garage sale which may or may not be possible now. Maybe you bought something new on Amazon and no longer have a need for an old item (or maybe you want a reason to find a new one of something, no judgement!). A few things we are looking to help them with are silverware, pots and pans, dishes, cleaning supplies and garbage cans. Shower curtains, razors, toothpaste, blinds/curtains. Coffee table, couch, rug, end tables, even plants! Many of these men will be starting from scratch so anything you have around your home that you think someone moving into their own home may need and can part with, we'd love to take it off your hands.
