Earlier in the summer we had a post about doing our silage. Well due to not having any rain of significance since then (7 plus weeks), there isn’t as much annual rye grass and hairy vetch as we would like, but we still have a great deal of grazing left for these girls. Its silage time in our house which means a lot of field lunches. I cooked a completely frozen cross rib roast (on top of the insert) in my instant pot for 2.5hrs on high pressure, then slow cooked it until the evening. It fell apart perfectly. I grew up having roasts covered in Golden Dragon Teriyaki sauce, sprinkled with Montreal Steak Spice on top and lots of onions placed around it. First photo they are so photogenic! Second photo piggies got cut down to a smaller area as they stopped respecting the wire. They sure dont seem to mind though! Theyve been in this area for less than 24hrs and have rooted up at least 90% of the ground. AND cleared up all the weeds and underbrush thats hard to clean up.
