Good morning and welcome to Morning Prayer. The readings today are a portion of psalm 50 and Acts 15:1-11.

Loving God, we thank you for all those who work in education, schools and administration. We pray for the support workers, education assistants, custodians, those in leadership in the school districts and in the ministry of education. We pray for SD42. Lord, we ask for your blessing and protection over them as they are back to work this week. We pray for our children, grandchildren and neighbours. Lord, would you be with them in their fears, give them joy in their learnin...g, and above all we pray for safety. We ask for your blessing on them as they go on to study. We pray for those going back into school this fall, as well as those who have made the choice to home school. We pray for instructors, professors and lecturers at universities and colleges and their students as they turn to online education. We ask your blessing as they figure out these different methods of learning. We thank you that we live in a place where education is accessible, and we pray for your guidance as we continue in the new normal.
