The story behind the sticker - Our story: Blue Tie Ride was created in 2011 when two Motorcycle Lovers, Raumar and Dolly, wanted to do something to raise funds for great causes, while doing what they love. Affectionately known as BTR, this non-profit organization, was initially created to support prostate cancer, hence the name, but then Dolly saw the need to help bring the lack of support for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse to the forefront, and added The Gatehouse... to their mission statement. Since 2011, BTR and its little strong family of 10 tireless souls have raised an incredible $90k! They are small but mighty! This year, with COVID-19 leaving many families struggling to put dinner on the table, they have joined forces with the Canadian Foodbank to help raise much needed funds and non-perishable food for families in need.
