Is your energy dipping during these cold months? It’s normal to experience less enthusiasm to do things while nature rests. It’s part of a natural cycle.... But when you need some inspiration and fire to continue, try including high paced and energizing self-care practices to your day. Indulge in the cold. We know it sounds counter intuitive but when you take a cold shower, walk barefoot in the snow, you are engaging your senses and revitalizing your body and mind. Not interested in immersing in more cold? Try dancing or moving to an upbeat song. Eat warm, spicy foods to balance the chill outside, and focus on core building exercises to engage your abdominal fire. For am extra energy boost, spend as much time with the sun as possible. Sit by a window, talk a walk when it’s sunny, and enjoy the powerful life force the Sun gives. Remember to nourish your inner fire daily.
