About the beer: Kompakt was brewed with @shorelinemalting Pils malt, yeast from @escarpmentlabs & Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops. Brewed gently and cellared properly with 2 months of lagering. It is everything we want in a Kölsch: clean, fresh, bitter, slightly fruity, bready, great texture, foam, lacing. Dangerously crushable.... You can think about grass, lychee syrup or a pu’er tea shop across the street when you drink it, or think about nothing at all. It is, as the style was designed to be by the genius brewers of Cologne, a truly great session beer. For the extremely interested (bless you): you can pick up cold cans TODAY between 3 and 4:30pm at the brewery (back door, red warehouse, 2015 Gottingen St) contactless-style.
