It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our own. Captain Craig Wilson passed away earlier this evening (Dec 3) after a brief battle ...with cancer. Capt. Wilson was awarded his 30-years of service award this morning in a short ceremony at his house, followed by a parade of fire trucks past his house. We will forever be in debt for the service Capt. Wilson has given to our community over the past 30 years. He was extremely proud to be a firefighter with the Coaldale and District Emergency Services, he gave everything he had to this service and ultimately paid the ultimate sacrifice for it. He was a great man, a great Captain, was looked up to by many, and taught us so much over the years. He will be dearly missed by all of us. Rest in peace Capt, we'll take it from here.
