Introducing our new feature for January: The Teriyaki Chicken Burger! Our brioche bun is coated with teriyaki sauce and dressed with a crunchy Asian slaw. We toss our grilled chicken in teriyaki sauce and too it with melted mozzarella cheese and crushed wasabi peas! ... This month, $1 from every feature burger sold goes to Sara Riel Inc.! Sara Riel is an amazing mental health clinic with a focus on compassion, respect, and recovery.

Monday’s contest was a close one! It was almost a tie but we eked out The Burger Place by 2 burgers! Either way, $1 from every burger sold by either of us is getting donated to @neveralonefnd so the real champs are all the people who bought one! Keep your eyes peeled for another contest!

We sold 247 Figgy B. Burgers in December! That means we'll be putting $247 towards feeding the patrons of Siloam Mission. We're announcing our next feature tomorrow :) Stay tuned!

Our life time rivals The Burger Place called and said 'That's what you get for even trying to compete with us!" Our pipes froze and burst today so hopefully we will be open tomorrow. We had a Mushroom Burger competition with our rivals at The Burger Place scheduled for today to see who could sell more! And the winner donates $1 of each Burger sold to Never Alone Cancer Foundation. COMPETITION IS POSTPONED till next Monday the 21st! ... The Burger Place we will see you real soon! Real. Soon.

Did you know we regularly disinfect our facilities? The video was a very quick video taken to show how it works. We use an electrostatic sprayer and a chemical called Vanguard made by Dustbane, a commercial disinfecting solution. This product is on Health Canada's list of hard surface disinfectants with evidence against COVID-19. An amazing product that’s safe for our entire facility including our kitchen with an Ecologo, CSA, cUL, QPS, and Food Safe designations made right... here in Canada. The beautiful part about an electrostatic sprayer as opposed to regular sprayers is that it uses an electrode that introduces an attractive charge and atomizes the solution. The particles are then attracted to hard surfaces, and unformly coats and wraps right around surfaces, not just where gravity lets it fall. We use Jan Pro as our commercial cleaning company who cleans and disinfects our property daily. Plus we disinfect multiple times a day with the electrostatic sprayer. Management is trained on how to use this effectively and regularly. This is just one of the investments we have made to ensure the safety of our customers & staff!
