Huge congrats to Dildo Brewing Co. & Museum on their opening weekend. I had a chance to check out the brewery this afternoon what a spot it is! And they have tasty brews to boot. Their IPA and Stout are extra special They also have an amazing deck right on the ocean (not pictured because I was too in awe of the view to take a photo). Drop everything you’re doing this weekend and head out their way!

What’s not to love about this tour? We didn’t know anyone here but after an hour of axe throwing, we had 10 new friends. And that wasn’t it. The brewery tour and tasting at Mill Street was so much fun. We stayed for hours afterward drinking with everyone and then they all came with us to get Screeched-In. What. A. We missed National Selfie Day because we were too busy drinking and having a blast with our guests from New Brunswick and Ontario last night on the Axes & Ales Tour. What an amazing group they were and everyone was an axe throwing superstar by the time we left Jack Axes Inc. So pleased to say that we had such a fun opening weekend! On both Friday and Saturday we shared our knowledge of #nlcraftbeer with tourists from Ontario. Some had been on the island for a while and wanted to cap off their vacation with the true Newfoundland experience and others had just arrived on the island an hour before joining us on tour and said they started off their trip the best way possible. To say we had a blast would be an understatement and I’m so thankful ...that all these wonderful people chose us as one of their must-do experiences while visiting here. This weekend we had the opportunity to taste beer from Quidi Vidi Brewing Co. Yellowbelly Brewery Port Rexton Brewing Split Rock Brewing Co. and Mill Street Brewpub St. John's and everyone loved what they were tasting. With the news that we’ll have double the number of breweries operating next summer, many guests want to return for a full beeraction next year!

Our very first tour of the season kicks off TODAY and I couldn't be happier to be spending this beautiful sunny afternoon with a sold out crowd on our Scuff & Scoff Tour at Mallard Cottage with an exclusive tour of Quidi Vidi Brewing Co. and their brand new taproom!
