St. John's Fire Fighters 11.12.2020

On December 21, 1992 tragedy struck Harvey Road in St. John's, NL... Our C.L.B. Armoury and many surrounding businesses were destroyed by a horrific fire which ...was fanned by high winds. The brave first responders fought the good fight through the night to keep our community safe. In the end, there was no loss of life and as we've learned in the 25 years since the fire, we can rebuild... Today marks the 25th anniversary of the fire, we would like to thank everyone who supported us then and continues to support us today. It's the reason our organization has survived 125 years in our great province. Have a safe and happy holiday season and a wonderful new year, from our extended CLB family to yours.

Firefighters are your friends! It is crucial for their safety that children are taught not to be fearful of firefighters. Although they may look and sound frig...htening when they have all their protective gear on, it is vital to reiterate to children that firefighters are good and they can trust them. Show this video to your children so they can see how a firefighter looks in their normal uniform and watch them put on all their gear! #FirePreventionWeek See more
