Lest we forget.

I am very proud as a Director of the NOHC, a Director of Sharing the Harvest NL, but mostly as a hunting Dad today. My son Shane Fordham, successfully harveste...d our Charity Moose license this morning at 7:30. It was the first time that he had hunted a moose and shot at one. His Guide, Cass Clarke spotted the moose and got Shane all lined up. He fired one shot from my (now our) Tikka .270 win at 237 yards and double lunged the Cow, with NO calf. It went 20 yards. She dressed out at 464 pounds. Special thanks goes to Austin Clarke for coming to our aid using his ATV for retrieving our moose. We are so thankful for all of the events leading up to this harvest and now we have a load of meat to be minced with filler which could equal to quite the hefty donation to the Food Banks. Thanks to everyone.
