Peterborough is moving into the Yellow (Protect) Level of the provincial Covid Response Framework as of midnight Monday. The Yellow Level maintains the same protocols for worship gatherings as the Green Level. At this time, we plan to continue worship as we have been, observing with diligence the protocols required by the Diocese and Public Health. No cases have been traced to any Anglican gatherings since our churches were permitted to reopen in September. We are grateful for the care worshippers are showing for one another in following the protocols.

The Primate has written a letter on behalf of the Church to the Minister of Justice supporting the Bill that would ban conversion therapy.

We're grateful this Thanksgiving weekend for the workers who have recently helped to restore and beautify the church and the gardens. Thanks go to Robert McCausland Ltd Stained Glass (the oldest stained glass company in the Western Hemisphere) for the new tempered glass protective covers for the nave windows. And to Johnston's Greenhouse and Landscaping for overhauling the gardens and front hill.

Peterborough’s jobless rate rose to 11.7 per cent in October, from 11.2 per cent in September, when it was the fifth highest, Statistics Canada reported Friday." We see the real world implications of these numbers every day at One Roof Community Centre as more and new guests come to find a nutritious meal. From serving around 50 per day in April to 150 per day, with a high of... 200 on Thanksgiving Day, more and more people are struggling with food insecurity in addition to precarious employment and housing. You can help by contributing to our meal and social inclusion programme.
