St Joseph’s Lakeside Community Centre 2752 Ohio East Rd St Joseph’s NS We are pleased to announce that we have received a grant for employment for a Canada Summer Job... Labourer / General Landscaping July 4 to August 26 30 hours per week at $13.50 hr. To be eligible for this position, all applicants must: be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment Duties: Assisting when necessary, with the mowing at church, community centre and cemetery, as well as raking, as required Weekly cleaning of the Centre - inside bathrooms, kitchen, main hall, gym, all floors, tables & chairs, windows, garbage pickup and removal Planting of flowers Regular checks of the property and perform maintenance as required Clean windows inside and outside, sweep entrance to building, watering of the flowers Set up and take down for events - tables & chairs, etc. (if applicable) Ensure that outside sign is updated with upcoming events as well as the Facebook page Other duties as required by the Board of Directors Requirements: Capable of doing physical labour Maintaining and operating ride on lawn tractor, push mower, and whipper snipper Current Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certification Have own transportation to and from the work site Must keep a detailed log of hours worked weekly (the details must include hrs spent at church and cemetery as well as the community centre) If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume to [email protected] by May 31, 2022.
