From Carolyn Gosse, President-St. Joseph’s Home Care & St. Joseph’s Villa Yesterday, the Honourable Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health announced that Hamilton will be one of the first 24 communities in Ontario to move forward with establishing an Ontario Health Team. As we work toward 24/7 healthc...are navigation for patients and improved coordination of care, St. Joe’s will continue to be a leader in Integrated Comprehensive Care. This announcement will align with St. Joseph’s Home Care & St. Joseph’s Villas new strategic plan; engaging this new Hamilton Health Team as partners, and expanding integrated care. We are in the very early stages of the Hamilton Health Team, and we are excited to work with our community partners. Today we celebrate the Feast day of St. Joseph, the patron saint of all workers; St. Joseph is also the patron Saint after which our organization is named. Each March 19, we reflect on our history and the values that define our organization: dignity, respect, service, justice, responsibility and enquiry. They define the exceptional care for which we are known. Across our organization, we commit ourselves today and every day to demonstrate these values in all we do.

We are extremely proud to be a part of the ICC team and demonstrating there is a better way to deliver healthcare in Ontario!
